"Can I sit here?"

"No." Felicity answered quietly. "Mom's sitting there."

Cale glanced down at the empty couch seat, confused. Normally, Cassidy did sit there, so Cale assumed that's what she meant. At least Felicity was talking now "Oh, okay... then where can I sit?"

Felicity curled her legs up, hugging them to her chest and clearing the middle cushion. Cale took the hint and sat down.

"Felic, I'm sorry I yelled at you. And I'm sorry I left you for a while."

"Why did you leave?"

"I...I needed to go be angry for a while. That's all."

Felicity looked up at Cale. "You got angry too?"

Cale nodded. "Did you?"

Felicity nodded, tucking her legs underneath herself and leaning into Cale, wrapping her arms around her sister's waist.

Cale hugged Felicity's shoulders, hiding a kiss in her hair. "Were you mad at me?"

Felicity shook her head.

"Do you know what you were mad at?"

Felicity shook her head.

Cale kissed her head again, very gently unwrapping the elastics in Felicity's hair, running her fingers through the soft strands the way Cassidy did. Over the past few months, Cale had learned how to do a lot of things the way Cassidy did.

"Where did Trick go?"

"I'm sure he's just gone to one of his friends, Peach. He'll be home later."

"If he went to his friends, why did he leave Noah? Trick and Noah go everywhere together."

Cale paused, realizing that Felicity was right. Trick rarely left Noah's side, and yet Trick pulled away from Noah in that room, running off without him. "That's a good question, Peach. I'm not sure why, either."
